Mr. Everette Eugene Little, age 91, of Charlotte, NC, passed away on Thursday, December 29th, 2011 at his home.  His funeral will be at 2 PM on Monday, January 2nd, 2011 in Stanly Funeral Home's Chapel and his family will receive friends from  12:30 PM to 1:45 PM just prior to the hour of service.  Rev. Joe Smith will officiate and burial will be in Stanly Gardens of Memory.

Born January 15th, 1920 in Catawba County, NC, Mr. Little was the son of the late Arthur Eugene and Hettie Isenhour Little.  He was a retired employee of Frank H. Conner Construction Co. with 30 years of service and also an employee of J.A. Jones Construction Co.  He was one of the builders of the Old Quenby Mall.  He was an avid fisherman and loved to fish at the Santee Cooper.  He was a Veteran of the US Navy where he served during World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Leona Wilson Little; one son, Randy Eugene Little of Charlotte, NC; one stepson, Dwight David Lucas of Charlotte, NC; two brothers, Fred Little of Newton, NC and Melvin Little of Catawba, NC; and one sister, Helen Adams of Norfolk, VA.
