Eve Odessa Hollingsworth, age 71, of 40893 Paul's Crossing Road, Richfield, NC, passed away on Monday, July 11th, 2011 at Stanly Regional Medical Center.  Her family will receive friends from 6 PM to 8 PM on Wednesday evening at Stanly Funeral Home and her funeral will be at 11 AM on Thursday, July 14th, 2011 in Stanly Funeral Home's Chapel.  Rev. Mike Lisk will officiate. 

Born October 31st, 1939 in Stanly County, NC, Mrs. Hollingsworth was the daughter of the late Watt Walter Hatley and Nollie Helms Hatley and a former employee of Wiscassett Mills, Roman Knit, and the Goody Shop.  She was of the Christian Faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Paul Hollingsworth.  She is survived by three sons: Wayne Dwight Hollingsworth of Norwood, NC, Roger Paul Hollingsworth of South Carolina, and David Earl Hollingsworth of Richfield, NC; one daughter, Rita Fay Muhammad of Richfield, NC; two sisters, Edith Huneycutt of Mt. Pleasant, NC and Faye Clodfelter of Albemarle, NC; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
