Estelle Wilson Talbert, age 79, of 707 Mocking Bird Road, Albemarle, NC, passed away on Monday, March 14th, 2011 at Stanly Manor Nursing Center in Albemarle, NC.  Her funeral will be at 3 PM on Thursday, March 17th, 2011 in Stanly Funeral Home's Chapel and her family will receive friends from 2 PM to 3 PM just prior to the hour of service.  Rev. Wayne Richardson will officiate and burial will be in Stanly Gardens of Memory.

Born September 27th, 1931 in Mt. Croghan, SC, Ms. Talbert was the daughter of the late Henry L. and Ethel Oliver Wilson and was a retired employee of Oakwood Mobile Homes and Stanly News & Press.  She was also a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Hazel M. Talbert; one son, Dean Talbert and wife Brenda of Albemarle, NC; one daughter, Debby T. Burrage and husband Michael of Misenheimer, NC; one brother, Carroll Wilson of Mt. Croghan, SC; five sisters: Leona Little and husband Everetty of Charlotte, NC, Avis Huneycutt of Albemarle, NC, Ruby Humphrey and husband Leo of Albemarle, NC, Margie Williams and husband Norvard of Pageland, SC, and Shirley Lambert and husband Ralph of Chesterfield, SC; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Wilson and Cecil Wilson; and two sisters, Gennett Sasser and Joyce Welsh.
