Mrs. Elizabeth Harkey Biedrycki, 88, died August 18th at the Laurels Assisted Living community in Pineville.
She was born January 6th, 1923 in Norwood, NC, the daughter of the late Fred and Myrtle Harkey. She was one of five children. On July 28, 1943 she married Leo Biedrycki, who preceded her in death earlier this year, on February 11th. Elizabeth was a homemaker.
She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Sandy Biedrycki of Richmond, VA, and Scott and Laura Biedrycki of Charlotte; her brothers Walter Harkey and Carl Harkey, both of Albemarle, NC; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 23rd at 9:30am at St. Ann Catholic Church, 3635 Park Rd., Charlotte, NC. Celebrant will be the Pastor, Rev. Timothy Reid. A private burial at Norwood Cemetery in Norwood, NC will follow the Mass.
