Mr. Donnie Joe Ragsdale, age 55, of 524 Salisbury Avenue, Albemarle, NC, passed away on Monday, October 17th, 201 at his mother's home.  His family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 6 PM to 8 PM and his graveside funeral with full military rites conducted by the Stanly County DAV Ritual Team will be at 4 PM on Friday, October 21st, 2011 at Fairview Memorial Park in Albemarle, NC.  Rev. David Howard will officiate.

Born February 7th, 1956 in Stanly County, NC, Mr. Ragsdale was the son of Frances Loftin Mauldin of Albemarle, NC and the late Harvey Lee Ragsdale, Sr.  He was a former employee of Wiscassett Mill Co. and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.  He was a Veteran of the US Army.

He is survived by his mother; daughter, Candi T. Reed and husband Jeremy of San Diego, CA; and brother, Lee Ragsdale of Albemarle, NC.
