Donald Bain Moore Hill, age 79, of 40919 Cox Road, New London, NC, passed away on Wednesday, January 11th, 2012 in Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle, NC.  His family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6 PM to 8 PM at Stanly Funeral Home and his Memorial Service will be at 2 PM on Saturday, January 14th, 2012 in Stanly Funeral Home's Chapel.  Rev. Frank Thompson will officiate.

Born July 17th, 1932 in Stanly County, NC, Mr. Hill was the son of the late John R. Hill and Corrina Snuggs Hill.  He was a graduate of Badin School and attended Pfeiffer College and Guilford College.  He was a retired Insurance Representative and member of Palmerville Baptist Church.  He was also a veteran of the US Army during the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his wife, Pansy Page Hill; two sons, Tony Hill of Badin, NC and Joey Hill of Albemarle, NC; two daughters, Debbie Green of Manitowoc, WI and Elizabeth Miller of Whiteville, NC; two brothers, Robert Hill of Badin, NC and Alvin Hill of Columbia, SC; three sisters: Sarah Swann of Albemarle, NC, Teresa Bunting of Albemarle, NC, and Kay Riley of Badin, NC; eight grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
