Dewey Lonzo Ridenhour, age 87, of 400 Old Smithfield Road, Goldsboro, NC, passed away on Monday, March 29th, 2010 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro, NC. His graveside service will be at 11 AM on March 31st, 2010 at Whitecrest Baptist Church's Cemetery in Mt. Gilead, NC and his family will receive friends on Wednesday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM just prior to the hour of service. Rev. Danny Laws and Rev. Farrell Shimpock will officiate.
Born July 13th, 1922 in Stanly County, NC, Mr. Ridenhour was the son of the late Robert Dewey and Emma Sells Ridenhour. He is survived by two brothers: Clegg Ridenhour and wife Sudie of Albemarle, NC and Douglas Ridenhour of Albemarle, NC; and one sister: Flonnie Owens of Albemarle, NC.
