Clyde Onie Seamon, Jr., 67, of 20537 Running Creek Church Road, Locust, NC, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2009 at Rowan Regional Medical Center, Salisbury. A memorial service will be held at 1 PMSaturday, September 26th, 2009 at WestStanlyBaptistChurch. There will be no formal visitation.

Born Dec. 22, 1941, in Ft.Bragg, he was the son of Clyde Onie Seamon Sr. and Thelma McNeil Barnhardt and foster mother Virginia Dare Price. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he was a retired diesel mechanic and a member of WestStanlyBaptistChurch and the National Rifle Association. He loved farming and John Deere Tractors.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sally Katherine Welsh Seamon of the home; a son, Lee Russell Seamon and wife Mandy of Albemarle; three daughters, Judy Marie Roach and husband Randy of Vass, Katherine Louise Seamon of Locust and Patricia Lynn Seamon of Albemarle; a half brother, Chester Neal Barnhardt of Locust; two sisters, Onie Dean Honeycutt of Harrisburg and Nancy Ann Thomas of Concord; two half sisters, Judy Ann Williams of Polkton and Hazel Holly; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
