Claude Carr Beeker, Jr., 79, of 44338 Ridenhour Road, Gold Hill, NC, passed away Tuesday, December 22 at Carolinas Medical Center NorthEast in Concord, NC. His family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, December 26 from 5 PM til 7 PM and his funeral will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 27,2009 in Stanly Funeral Home’s Chapel. Rev. George Townsend will officiate and burial will be in Fairview Memorial Park.
Born March 9, 1930 in Stanly County, Mr. Beeker was the son of the late Claude Carr Beeker, Sr. and Georgia Thompson Beeker and was educated at Albemarle High School. He was retired from Public Service of North Carolina and was of the Methodist Faith.
He is survived by his wife, Onnie Holt Beeker; two sons: Todd Allen Beeker and wife Kelley of Richfield, NC and Kevin Dale Beeker and wife Debbie of Gold Hill, NC; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
