Mrs. Clara Ann Hatley Harrington, age 94, of 625 Bethany Road, Albemarle, NC, passed away on Wednesday, March 9th, 2011 at Stanly Manor Nursing Center in Albemarle, NC.  Her graveside funeral will be at 4 PM on Saturday, March 12th, 2011 at Fairview Memorial Park in Albemarle, NC and her family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM just prior to the hour of service at Stanly Funeral Home.  Rev. Ron Honeycutt will officiate.

Born December 2nd, 1916 in Stanly County, NC, Mrs. Harrington was the daughter of the late Felix and Amanda Tucker Hatley and was a retired employee of Wiscassett Mills.  She was a member of Hill Street Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Eugene Harrington; two sons, Donald Eugene Harrington and Larry Gene Harrington; and two daughters, Judy Clara Harrington and Reba Lou Harrington Thompson.  She is survived by two sons, Randy Merrill Harrington of Kannapolis, NC and Barry Joe Harrington and wife Pansy of Asheboro, NC; one daughter, Barbara Ann Pennington of Albemarle, NC; fourteen grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
