Mr. Clad Joseph Huneycutt, age 73, of Albemarle, NC, passed away on Sunday, January 29th, 2012 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle, NC.  His Memorial Service will be at 11 AM on Wednesday, February 1st, 2012 in Stanly Funeral Home's Chapel and his family will receive friends at the Funeral Home immediately following the service.  Rev. Tab Whitley will officiate.

Born July 5th, 1938 in Stanly County, NC, Mr. Huneycutt was the son of the late Millard and Janie Luther Huneycutt.  He was a former employee of Wiscassett Mills Co. and was a Towncraft Distributor.  He was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church and an avid Tarheel Fan.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Smith Huneycutt; one daughter, Lisa H. Love and husband Todd of Oakboro, NC; one brother, Junior Huneycutt of Charlotte, NC; one sister, Louise Almond of Albemarle, NC; and one grandchild, Cody Tucker of Stanfield, NC.  He was preceded in death by a son, Rocky Huneycutt.
