Charlie Morgan Sells of 635 North 7th Street, Albemarle, NC, passed away on Friday, July 16th, 2010 at the Lutheran Home of Albemarle in Albemarle, NC.  Her funeral will be at 3 PM on Wednesday, July 21st, 2010 in Stanly Funeral Home's Chapel.  Her family will receive friends from 1:45 PM to 2:45 PM just prior to the hour of the service.  Rev. Leslee Wray will officiate and burial will be in Fairview Memorial Park. 

Born in Stanly County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Charles Franklin and Ella Russell Morgan and was a graduate of Pfeiffer College.  She was a First Grade Teacher at East Albemarle School for 23 years and a member of First Street United Methodist Church in Albemarle where she was a Sunday School Teacher and active in the Women's Society. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur W. Sells, Jr.; sister, Lillian Morgan Taylor; and brother, James R. Morgan.  She is survived by her son, Arthur W. Sells, Jr. of Albemarle, NC; her daughter, Pamela Sells McIntyre and husband Derrill of Jamestown, NC; two grandchildren: Michele Weller of Seattle, Washington and Nicole Apple and husband Eric of Greensboro, NC; and six great-grandchildren.
