Cecil "Bud" Frasier Rinehart, age 63, of 36175 A NC Hwy 740, Badin, NC passed away on Sunday, April 11th, 2010 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle, NC. His family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6 PM to 8 PM and his funeral will be at 2 PM on Thursday, April 15th, 2010 in Stanly Funeral Home's Chapel. Rev. Frank Thompson and Rev. Kevin Munson will officiate and burial will be in Open Door Baptist Church Cemetery in Richfield, NC.
Born May 14th, 1946 in Stanly County, NC, Mr. Rinehart was the son of the late Henry B. and Dorothy Mabry Rinehart and was a former Mechanic and Auto-Body Repairman with Crowell Huneycutt. He was of the Baptist faith and loved to go fishing.
He is survived by his two daughters: Angie Rinehart Burleson and husband Tony of Albemarle, NC, and Cecilia Rinehart and fiance' Jon Walker of Badin, NC; two brothers: Henry Rinehart of Albemarle, NC and Joe "Troy" Rinehart of Greenfield, Ohio; one half-brother: Bill Rinehardt of Badin, NC; one sister: Mary Burris of Albemarle, NC; and four grandchildren: Cecilia Jean Whitley, Gina Michelle Whitley, Cariann Faith Burleson, and Elyse Hope Burleson. Also surviving is fiance' Sharon Corl of Salisbury, NC, as well as all of his well-loved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brother, Jackie Rinehart; sister, Nancy Rinehart Talbert; half-brother, Henry B. Rinehart Jr.; and half-sisters: Lillian Rinehardt Currie and Elizabeth "Bess" Rinehardt Dunn.
