Carrie Isabelle Bowers Huneycutt, 84, of 28086 NC Hwy. 73, Albemarle, NC, passed away on September 28th, 2009 at the Lutheran Home. Her funeral will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 30th, 2009 at Stanly Funeral Home's Chapel. Her family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral Home from 1 PM to 1:45 PM, Wednesday, prior to the service. Rev. Mark Medlin will officiate and burial will be in Bear Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Born October 1st, 1924 in Stanly County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Jonah Green Bowers and Essie Lambert Bowers and was educated at Millingport High School. She was a retired employee of Stanly Memorial Hospital and a member of Mt. View Baptist Church.
Mrs. Huneycutt was married to the late Clyde James Huneycutt. Survivors include one son: Ronald James Huneycutt and wife Christian of Albemarle; one daughter: Lisa H. Maidene and husband Kenneth of Albemarle; and three grandchildren: Amee, Mitchell, and Summer. Two brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
