Barry Lee Kinter, age 67, of 38168 Hopkins Road, New London, NC, passed away on Sunday, November 14th, 2010 at Carolinas Medical Center - NorthEast in Concord, NC.  His graveside service will be at 2 PM on Friday, November 19th, 2010 at the Stanly Gardens of Memory in Albemarle, NC and his family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral Home from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM just prior to the hour of service. 

Born October 10th, 1943 in Portage, Penna, Mr. Kinter was the son of the late Grant and Jennie Christoff Kinter.  He was a retired plumber. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine McGrouty Kinter.  He is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Kinter Kendrick and husband Robert "A.J." Kendrick of Brandon, FL; one brother, Donald L. Kinter of Wellborn, FL; three sisters: Patty Neperency of De Funiak Springs, FL, Joan Kinter of Abilene, TX, and Beverly Robinson of Oklahoma City, OK; five grandchildren: Michael, Chris, Haley, Eric, and Ian; and four step-children.
