Mrs. Anne Reynolds Poplin, age 61, of 40315 A Jason Road, Norwood, NC  28128, passed away on Sunday, January 23rd, 2011 at the Hospice House of Union County in Monroe, NC.  Her family will receive friends from 6 PM to 8 PM on Tuesday evening at Stanly Funeral Home and her funeral will be at 3 PM on Wednesday, January 26th, 2011 in Stanly Funeral Home's Chapel.  Rev. Dean Reynolds and Rev. Flynn Richardson will officiate and burial will be in Porter Cemetery.

Born October 30th, 1949 in York County, SC, Mrs. Poplin was the daughter of the late Roy C. and Myrtle Robinson Reynolds.  She was an employee of NC Farm Bureau and a member of Porter Baptist Church where she served as the Church Librarian.  

She is survived by her husband, Douglas A. Poplin; one son, Ryan S. Dills of Norwood, NC; one brother, Buddy Robinson of Fort Mill, SC; ten sisters: Anna Webb (twin sister) of Spartanburg, SC, Gaynell Patterson of Rincon, GA, Ruth Mathers of Catawba, SC, Helen Chappell of Rock Hill, SC, Priscilla Stover of Jacksonville, FL, Carolyn Dedmond of Jacksonville, FL, Martha Dess of Chester, SC, Lucille Deah of Jacksonville, FL, Betty Devinney of Rock Hill, SC, and Sylvia Rawls of Rock Hill, SC; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
