Alice Kearns Pickler, age 94, of Albemarle, NC, passed away on Friday, May 6th, 2011 at Bethany Woods Nursing Center in Albemarle, NC.  Her funeral will be at 7 PM on Monday, May 9th, 2011 at Full Gospel Mission Church in Albemarle, NC and her family will receive friends from 6 PM to 7 PM just prior to the hour of the service.  Rev. Mitchell Cook and Rev. Jerry Baker will officiate and burial will be at 10 AM on Tuesday, May 10th, at Anderson Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Born September 13th, 1916 in Stanly County, NC, Mrs. Pickler was the daughter of the late John Franklin and Ellen Josephine Holshouser Kearns.  She was a retired employee of Wiscassett Mills Co. and a Charter Member of Full Gospel Mission Church where she was very instrumental in the founding of the church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Raymond Pickler.
