Adam Snuggs, age 65, of 145 Forest Hill Village Road, Mt. Gilead, NC, passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at his home.  His funeral will be at 2 PM on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Stanly Funeral Home and his family will receive friends from 1 PM to 2 PM just prior to the hour of the service.  Bishop Larry Daye, Sr. and Elder Chester Little will officiate and burial will be in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Albemarle, NC. 

Born October 1st, 1944 in Stanly County, NC, Mr. Snuggs was the son of the late Richard Filmore Snuggs, Sr. and Roxie Little Snuggs.  He was a retired employee of Lowes, a member of Church of God of Prophecy in Albemarle, NC, and a member of the US Army Reserve. 

He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Turner Snuggs of the home; one son, Anthony L. Dunlap of Albemarle, NC; one daughter, Tammy Brown of Albemarle, NC; two brothers: Henry Lewis Snuggs, Sr. of Philadelphia, PA and Charlie Lincoln Snuggs of Albemarle, NC; two sisters: Annie Liza Rustin of Indianapolis, IN and Verdell Harris of Albemarle, NC; and three grandchildren.
